Yoga on the Lane
How to “flow” safely with the rhythm of your breath is at the heart of dynamic yoga. This workshop will teach you when to rest, how to breath with transitions between poses and how to modify when needed. Teaching variations on the Sun Salutations used in the vinyasa or dynamic styles, you will take home a version that suits your body now and helps to build strength and awareness for deepening your practice. Focusing on healthy alignment during the “vinyasa flow” brings you the freedom to feel at home in even the strongest class. Looking closely at how to modify poses to suit individual bodies you will discover how to find balance between effort (sthiram) and ease (sukham). We will end with a deep relaxation.
