I’m piecing together a tote of non-toxic, clean personal care products for my mom for the holidays. She uses hand creams, body lotions/oils and face moisturizers, and likes things like eye care and masks. Which essentials do you recommend?
The gift of natural beauty is always a fantastic idea for mom or any loved one! If she’s already a fan, she will be thrilled. If she’s new to the idea, allowing her to experience healthy beauty at it’s best will surely help her embrace it in her daily regimen. This is a nice way to help educate your loved ones, while giving them something special and luxurious that they will use every bit of!
There are truly so many wonderful brands, it’s hard to narrow it down, but here are a few of my top recommendations!
Chosen not only because of its hand-crafted, pure formulations and high efficacy, but its commitment to give back. For the month of December, 15% of all of Blissoma’s retail sales will be donated to its St. Louis community- via the Earthdance Ferguson Farm School Youth Program and the St. Louis Food Bank. The gift box shown here is the Mature and Dry Natural Skincare Group. Also try the Evening Calming Cream and the Intense Hydration Tonique.
The nourishing and hydrating ingredients in Kari Gran’s “KG System” make it a top pick for holiday gifting. Not to mention you get a free Lip Whip (which is one of the most amazing lip balms ever!) when you spend $75 or more. The simplicity of a 3-step skincare regimen and the eco-chic black bottles it’s packaged in makes it perfect for luxury product lovers and skincare newbies alike.
For an organic experience that’s easy on the bank and accessible in stores nationwide, Acure is a great go-to. They offer a full range of personal care products- from hair care to lip gloss- that are chock full of nutritious plant and food based ingredients. It’s kind of amazing that everything is sustainable, fair trade, certified organic, and under $20 each!
Another option would be to shop an online boutique that carries a variety of carefully curated natural products. That way you can mix and match different products and brands. Most of them will put gladly together a gift box for you. Here are a few of my favorites- enjoy!
One last idea- if you want to give your mom, aunt or girlfriend something special that she will benefit from for years to come, gift her with a private makeup lesson with me! I would love to teach her all my tips and offer personalized product recommendations. Email me at [email protected] by January 2, 2015 and mention SERENE to receive $100 off!
